Opis:

Uzbudljiva avantura posvećena prvim pravim američkim herojima, ljudima koji su lovili i preživljavali u divljinama Stjenjaka 1830-ih. Potražnja za dabrovim krznom sve je manja, a život kakav vode Tyler (Charlton Heston) i njegov pomoćnik Henry Frapp (Brian Keith) bliži se kraju. No oni ne žele odustati. Kraju se bliži i indijanska sloboda i njihov način života i poglavica Heavy Eagle (Stephen Macht) bori se za preživljavanje svoga plemena sukobljavajući se s traperima i epidemijom kozica koju su donijeli među njegove ljude.
Glavni glumac u filmu ’Čovjek s planine’, Charton Heson je 1960. godine osvojio Oscara za ulogu u filmu ’Ben Hur’
