The Stuff (1985)

Satirični horor / ZF. Film prati otkriće tajanstvene, slatke tvari koja izaziva ovisnost i postaje popularni desert u SAD-u, ali ubrzo počinje napadati ljude i pretvarati ih u zombije. Film je satira na račun američkog načina života i potrošačkog društva.
Radnici u kamenolomu u Georgiji otkrivaju bijelu tvar nalik na kremu kako izvire iz tla. Tu slatku tvar koja stvara ovisnost pod nazivom Stuff prodaju građanima u posudama poput onih za sladoled ili jogurt. Iako nitko ne zna što je ta tvar, Stuff ima nula kalorija i postaje hit u cijeloj zemlji. Jedne noći dječak Jason otkriva da je Stuff živ. Iako se trudi uvjeriti svoju obitelj, oni mu ne vjeruju i nastavljaju jest samo Stuff i ništa drugo. Poslije ga šerif uhiti u supermarketu jer je vandalizirao police na kojima je bio izložen Stuff. Popularnost Stuffa sve više raste i mnogi postaju opsjednuti njime.
Bivšeg agenta FBI-a koji se sada bavi industrijskom sabotažom, Davida "Moa" Rutherforda, industrija sladoleda u gubicima unajmi da dozna što je točno Stuff i istrijebi ga.
