Queen Sugar (2016)

Serija je temeljena na romanu Queen Sugar autorice Natalie Baszile. Serija prati život dve sestre, Novu Bordelon (Rutina Wesley), odlučnu novinarku i aktivisticu iz New Orleansa i Charley Bordelon (Dawn-Lyen Gardner) uspješnu samohranu majku koja zajedno sa svojim sinom Micahom Westom (Nicholas L. Ashe) iza sebe ostavlja svoj lagodan život u Los Angelesu i odlazi na farmu (veliko polje šećerne trske) u Louisiani koju je nasledila od svog nedavno preminulog oca. U pokušaju da obnove svoju farmu suočit će se s posve nepoznatim im svetom, otporom zajednice, romansom.
