Opis:

Alis Kerol ostavlja muža jedne kišne noći govoreći mu da ga više ne voli. Putuje sama ali kad je vetrobran pukao na pustom drumu, mora da se zaustavi i potraži pomoć. Stiže na neko jezivo imanje gde je pozdravlja vlasnik Henri Vergennes i njegov sluga Colas. Alis je pozvana da provede noć u kući. Sledećeg jutra Alis ne može da pronađe dva čoveka od prethodne noći ali nalazi da su njena kola začudo popravljena. Pokušava da ode ali ne može da nađe kapiju. Zaustavlja automobil i hoda oko zida pokušavajući da pronađe izlaz ali postaje sve više zabrinuta onim što nalazi.
