Opis:

Smješten u krajolik australske divljine, film nam prenosi priču o Nedu Kendallu (Ben Mendelsohn), njegovoj incestuoznoj vezi s prelijepom sestrom blizankom Kate (Sophie Lowe) iz vremena kada su bili tinejdžeri te o emocionalnim posljedicama niza tragičnih događaja koji su se odigrali dok je bio 16-godišnjak. Radnja filma paralelno se odvija u sadašnjosti i prošlosti, a film je smješten na posjedu u Wilpena Poundu kamo se Ned vratio kući nakon dvadesetogodišnjeg izbivanja, da bi se oprostio s ocem Bruceom (Bryan Brown) na samrti. Ned je sa sobom poveo i svoju 21-godišnju zaručnicu Toni (Maeve Dermody), seksi konobaricu/nadobudnu glumicu koja ništa ne zna o Nedovoj obitelji i začudi se kada sazna da on ima sestru blizanku. Nakon što Toni slučajno pronađe Nedov dnevnik iz tinejdžerskog doba koji sadrži šokantna otkrića o teškoćama blizanaca zbog odrastanja u izolaciji, bježi natrag u grad ostavljajući oca i sina same. Ned počinje uviđati da je nepravedno držao oca odgovornim za ono što se dogodilo prije toliko godina. Uz pomoć mlađe sestre Sally (Rachel Griffiths) Ned prvi put uviđa istinu i napokon može započeti emocionalno putovanje pomirenja s obitelji.
