Opis:

    Pisac Paul Essex umire na putu za San Francisco i policija veruje kako je u pitanju samoubojstvo. 
    Ali, čim stigne na mjesto događaja Charlie Chan shvati da policajci nisu u pravu. 
    On prati tragove do misterioznog Zodijaka, navodnog iluzionista. U potrazi za istinom Charliu pomaže i Rhadini,
