Opis:

Radnja filma je smeštena u San Francisko početkom XIX veka tokom sukoba u kineskoj zajednici. Kineski mafijaši se pored trgovine drogama bave i prodajom žena u roblje. Mladi avanturista je uključen od strane jednog od mafijaških gazda da pronađe i vrati nazad odbeglu ženu. Umesto da je vrati on rešava da joj pomogne. Tako i on postaje meta gnevnog mafijaša koji ga osuđuje na smrt. Pokušavajući da pobegne od njegovog gneva avanturista se krije u kineskoj četvrti gde otkriva čuda trgovine opijumom i njegovo halucinogeno dejstvo.
