Opis:

I pored naslova, film "Dagon" je više zasnovan na noveli "Sjenka nad Insmutom", nego na istoimenoj kratkoj priči Hauarda Filipsa Lavkrafta.
Film govori o mladom preduzetniku Polu Maršu, kojeg zajedno sa djevojkom Barbarom potraga za pomoći nakon pomorske nesreće nanosi u primorsko selo Imboka.
Međutim, stvari u Imboki nisu onakve kako se isprva čine, naročito nakon što padne noć, kada njeni stanovnici pokažu svoje pravo lice koje nije ljudsko, i kada Pol otkrije mračnu tajnu Imboke: svi koji tu žive obožavaju Dagona, čudovišno morsko božanstvo koje je Imboku naselilo svojim nakaznim polučovječijim potomstvom.
