DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES
Problemska drama Blakea Edwardsa (Pink Panter, Zabava) je nosila promocijski slogan: »Na nenavaden način je to ljubezenska zgodba.« Joe Clay je razmeroma uspešen piarovec, ki rad odhaja v življenje in uživa alkoholne pijače. To je pravzaprav del njegove službe, saj mora pogosto zabavati stranke. V službi spozna Kirsten Arnasen, simpatično dekle z nedolžnim pogledom na svet. Kirsten in Joe se kmalu poročita in dobita hčer. Družina je srečna, a le na prvi pogled. Joe ženo navadi na alkohol in nekega dne uzre, da je ta povsem zagospodaril nad njunim življenjem. Poskuša jo prepričati, naj se mu pridruži na odvajanju. A Kirsten vztraja, da lahko alkoholizem premaga brez pomoči zunanjih instanc. Ko Kirsten izgine za nekaj dni, jo Joe zlomljeno najde v bližnjem motelu. Čeprav je boleče, si mora priznati, da je pot iz odvisnosti v nekaterih primerih nemogoča.
