Opis:
„Sjevernjaci“ su mračna i nadrealna crna komedija smještena u trošnom naselju 1960-ih. Kada se Thomasova majka počne ponašati poput svetice, a očeva frustriranost postane neizdrživa, dječak postane opsjednut događajima u vijestima. Oslobođenje Belgijskog Konga je u tijeku, a Thomas postaje Lumumba, jedan od kandidata za novog vođu Konga. U tom eskapizmu ohrabruje ga Plagge, poštar koji čita poštu i zna sve bizarne i intimne tajne ekscentričnih stanovnika naselja.
