Opis:

Poručnik McAlister (B. Travers) zadužen je za pratnju konvoja sa streljivom do udaljene vojne tvrđave. Put do nje vodi preko teritorija koji kontoliraju Apači, a vojnici koji stoje McAlisteru na raspolaganju uglavnom su neiskusni novaci. Jedini su mu oslonac iskusni civilni izvidnik Jess Remsberg (J. Garner) i bivši vojni narednik, sada krotitelj konja, Toller (Sidney Poitier)...
"Dvoboj kod Diabla", jedan od prvih revizionističkih vesterna, djelo je uglednog redatelja Ralpha Nelsona čiji je najpoznatiji film, isto tako vestern, "Plavi vojnik", svojedobno izazvao velike kontroverze. U glavnim su ulogama izvrsni James Garner i Sidney Poitier, a sjajan nastup zabilježila je i omiljena glumica Ingmara Bergmana Bibi Andersson.
