Opis:
Izliječeni narkoman, Tim Brett (David Hemmings) odlučan je u tome da riješi tajnu okrutnog ubojstva svoje tete. Tražeći tajanstvenu grupu „The Stepping Stones, upozna neobičnu ženu koja mu preda zlokobno pismo. Poslije Tim dobije magnetofonsku snimku koja završava sablasnim smijehom. Uskoro se, međutim, ustanovi da je pismo otipkano na Timovu pisaćem stroju i da je smijeh njegov. Tim je uvjeren da ga netko promatra i prati, a njegova paranoja postane glavni izvor brige za njegovu zaručnicu Julie (Gayle Hunnicutt) koja se pita je li se Tim previše približio ubojicama svoje tete ili polako gubi razum.
