Frightmare (1974)

Dorothy Yates poslana je u umobolnicu 1957. zbog niza kanibalističkih ubojstava zajedno sa svojim odanim suprugom Edmundom. Proglašeni su zdravima te pušteni na slobodu 18 godina poslije, a zatim su se nastanili na jednoj staroj farmi. Edmundova kći Jackie živi u gradu, gdje se pokušava brinuti o svojoj divljoj sestri Debbie te ih povremeno posjećuje ništa ne sluteći. Tek kad Jackien novi dečko, psihijatar Graham, počne čeprkati po tom slučaju, ona sazna istinu. A istina je da Dorothy, koja nije ni blizu izlječenja, namamljuje ljude u svoju kuću - putem oglasa o proricanju budućnosti preko tarot-karata - te ih ubija metalnim žaračima, električnim bušilicama i vilama. Ne samo to, pokaže se da se i mlada Debbie ugledala na krvoločnu obitelj, što vodi ka krvavom i uznemirujućem kraju.
