U debitantskom filmu redateljice Laure Piani, Agathe (Camille Rutherford) beznadno je nespretna, ali šarmantna mlada žena koja radi u legendarnoj knjižari Shakespeare & Co. u Parizu. Dok sanja o tome da bude uspješna spisateljica i iskusi ljubav kao u romanu Jane Austen, ona je očajnički sama. Kad Agathein najbolji prijatelj (Pablo Pauly) uspije dobiti pozivnicu za Spisateljsku rezidenciju Jane Austen u Engleskoj, ona napokon proživljava svoj Jane Austen trenutak... i nađe se u nestabilnom ljubavnom trokutu. Agathe se mora osloboditi svojih nesigurnosti kako bi odlučila što zaista želi za sebe i ostvarila svoje romantične i profesionalne snove.
