Radnja ovog japanskog horora počinje u prošlosti kada banda pirata zauzme brod i pobije sve na brodu.
Tri godine kasnije u primorskom selu, katolički sveštenik nudi utočište Saeko, a njena sestra blizanka
je nestala na moru zajedno sa mužem. Kada kasnije Saeko roni sa svojim dečkom, oni pronalaze
grupu potopljenih kostura, lancem vezanih za dno okeana.
Te noći, brod duhova se pojavljuje u magli, a glas sa broda doziva Saeko...
