Zabava u čast čovjeka godine Gotham Cityja, Brucea Waynea, brzo preraste u kaos kada na nju upadne Joker praćen cijelom galerijom hulja, među kojima su Riddler, Žena Mačka i Dvolični. Vitez Tame kreće u akciju da obuzda nepozvane goste, ali jedan kriminalni uzvanik nije tako očit - to je Lex Luthor, a s njime je tajno oružje koje bi moglo zauvijek promijeniti ravnotežu moći u Gothamu.
