Opis:
The story takes place in the summer of 1980 in Brindisi, Italy. Martino is a young man whose father's not him enough attention. His older brother and his friends, including Silvia, a young northern Italian who spends his holidays in the south of the country and has a romance with brother Martino. Young people tend to enter an American military base north, Martino and ends up finding a US military a good friend who teaches him how to surf.

Priča o mladom tinejdžeru se odvija u leto 1980 god, nezaboravne godine u Italiji u negativnom smislu. Oboren je DC-9 iznad ostrva Ustica, a u Bolonji je veliki broj ljudi stradao u terorističkom napadu na železničku stanicu. U senci ovih događaja mladić se sprijateljuje sa devojkom svoga brata i sa američkim kapetanom koji ga uči da surfuje. Martin je tipičan tinejdžer, neshvaćen i u stalnom problemu sa svojom okolinom.
