Opis:

Švedska, rano 20. stoljeće. U vrijeme socijalnih promjena i nemira, rata i siromaštva, mlada žena Maria (Maria Heikanen), pripadnica srednje klase, osvaja fotoaparat na lutriji. Njezina odluka da ga zadrži zauvijek će joj promijeniti život. Fotoaparat donosi Mariji potpuno nov pogled na svijet i u život joj dovodi šarmantnog fotografa (Jesper Christensen). Nevolje počinju kada se Marijin muž, ženskaroš i alkoholičar (Mikael Persbrandt), počne osjećati ugroženo od mladog muškarca, a i Marijinog novog pogleda na svijet.
