Opis:
Francis Barnard dolazi u Španiju, nakon što sazna da mu je sestra mrtva. Njen suprug Nikolas Medina, sin je najbrutalnijeg mučitelja španske inkvizicije. On kaže Francisu kako mu je sestra umrla od bolesti koja je zahvatila krv, ali Francis mu ne veruje. Nakon istraživanja sazna kako je ekstremni strah bio smrtonosan za njegovu sestru, pa da čak i postoji mogućnost da je živa zakopana. Čudne se stvari počinju događati u dvorcu Medina.
