Cult Japanese director Takashi Miike draws inspiration from the popular Playstation 2 title Yakuza for this unhinged tale of underworld violence in Tokyo starring Goro Kishitani and Kazuki Kitamura. It's summertime in Tokyo, and as the temperature rises, two undercover cops stake out a high-profile bank robbery while complaining about the air conditioning. When the masked gunmen make their way into the vault only to find that the Tojo gang's ten-million-yen deposit has mysteriously vanished, an already complicated situation gradually starts to spiral out of control. O jao Miike pa stvarno...Ja sam obožavatelj Yakuza serijala videoigara, ali brate ovo je baš sveukupno grozno.
Kad je Miike u pitanju, tu uvijek treba očekivati neočekivano.
Egzotično, unikatno i toliko ludo da ne može biti luđe.
Sve to smo i dobili.
Međutim, to smo sve imali i u Yakuza igrama.
Ne treba, na primjer, za film prepisati lokanje klistira i ostale stvari zbog kojih smo u igrama umirali od smijeha.
Ali dobro, film je rađen po narudžbi i scenarij je takav kakav jest, ne može se od toga napraviti čudo.
Možda se može namamiti koga da isproba Yakuzu 0, Kiwami 1, 2 i nedavno izašle remastere ostalih nastavaka na Steamu, ali ne bih se kladio.
Samo za ekipu koja želi pogledati sve Miikeove filmove.
