    Rodeo zvezda John Scott (John Wayne) i njegov prijatelj kockar Kansas Charlie (Eddy Chandler) bivaju pogrešno optuženi za oružanu pljačku kod Rattlesnake Gulch rodea, neposredno nakon što je John osvojio novac kao nagradu.
