Opis:


A farmer unearths an old top hat on his property and with it an ancient Indian curse that lays waste to all the farmers crops. All of the adults of the farming community are afflicted by a strange sickness that slowly dries them up until they are dust. It is only when the farmer communes with the hat does he find what it is that will save them all.

    Film "The Rain" inspirisan je kratkom pričom Širli Džekson "Lutrija" i paralelno prati tri radnje koje se u različitim vremenskim periodima odvijaju u malom gradiću Perservirens. Njegove stanovike prati staro indijansko prokletsvo otkada je sredinom 19. veka lokalni farmer na svom imanju iskopao stari šešir, polucilindar.
    Od tada, svake godine pogađa ih jaka suša koja im uništava useve, stoku i izaziva bolest koja im isušuje kožu i stvara užasne rane. Jedini lek je prolećna kiša koju mogu prizvati jedino ako žrtvuju troje svoje dece...
