Opis:
Radnja filma je smeštena u Sjedinjene Države, ali se on zapravo snimao u Engleskoj. Film opisuje povratak 25-godišnje žene Susannah u stari mlin gde je dotična odrasla i za koji je ne vezuju lepe uspomene. Nakon što je napunila 5 godina, Susannah se preselila u veliki grad i sve do sada nije dolazila na mesto odakle je ponikla. Plan je da trošni mlin Susannah i njen dosta stariji suprug Mike srede i naprave mestašce zgodno za provođenje letnjeg odmora. Već po dolasku na ostrvo gde se nalazi mlin naš par se susreće sa zatucanošću, konzervativizmom i primitivnošću lokalnog seoskog stanovništva. Lokalni gilipteri postaju ljubomorni na status i finansije Mikea i nameračeni na njegovu mladu, lepu i fensi suprugu...
