Opis:

Dogajanje filma je postavljeno v bližnjo prihodnost na Japonskem. Tokijska policija je v privatnih rokah. Boriti se morajo proti "inženirjem", stvorom, ki so plod ustvarjenega virusa v raziskavah strokovnjaka za genetski inženiring. Njihova moč je nepojmljiva,
saj so pravzaprav neuničljivi. Iz odtrganih ali odstreljenih udov jim zrastejo nove okončine v obliki orožja. Tokijska policija uri posebno enoto za boj proti tem stvorom, pravijo jim lovci na inženirje. Najboljša med njimi je Ruka, mlada policistka, katere glavni motiv je najti morilca svojega očeta, prav tako policista.
Začenja se krvavi boj za prevlado v Tokiju.
