Opis:

Izraelski akcijski film, poznatiji pod engleskim naslovom Operacija Thunderbolt, snimljen u režiji Menahema Golana i premijerno prikazan početkom 1977. godine. Radnja se temelji na istinitim događajima koji su se zbili nekoliko mjeseci ranije, odnosno prikazuje spektakularni prepad koje su izraelski specijalci izveli na aerodrom Entebbe u Ugandi u nastojanju da izbave taoce koje su tamo držali palestinski militanti. Film se snimao istovremeno kada su se u SAD snimala dva televizijska filma na istu temu - Victory at Entebbe i Raid on Entebbe, a pri tome su pomoć pružile izraelska vlada i ratna avijacija. Smatra se kako je od sve tri igrane rekonstrukcije upravo Operacija Yonatan najautentičnija. U Izraelu je postigao veliki uspjeh, a djelomično i u ostalim tržištima. Producenti Golan i Yoram Globus su ispočetka snimili autentičnu verziju u kojoj se koriste isti jezici koji su koristile stvarne ličnosti, ali su potom dosnimili verziju u kojoj se koristi isključivo engleski. Film je bio nominiran za Oscar za najbolji film na stranom jeziku. [wiki]
