The Light in the Forest (1958)

Godine 1764. Britanci postižu sporazum sa indijanskim plemenima Delavera kako bi doneli mir u regionu. Delaveri su se obavezali da će zaustaviti napade na bele naseljenike i pustiti sve svoje bele zarobljenike. Britanci su obećali da će sprečiti bele doseljenike da se nasele na zemlji Delavera preko reke Ohajo i da će prestati sa ubijanem Indijanaca. Izviđač britanske vojske Del Hardi, koji je nekada i sam živeo među Delaverima, služi kao izviđač i prevodilac za britanskog pukovnika Henrija Bukea. Teška srca, poglavica Kaloga se rastaje sa svojim sinom i traži od njega da sluša svoju belu porodicu. Uprkos datom obećanju da će slušati svoje bele roditelje i da će se ponovo integrisati u društvo belih ljudi, Džoni Batler (Pravi Sin) ima ozbiljan problem da to ispuni.
