The Message (1976)

Film Mustafe Akkada uvod je u ranu povijest Islama i govori o životu poslanika Muhameda. Iako je radnja filma fokusirana na Muhameda, njegov lik nije prikazan u filmu, iz poštovanja prema islamskoj anikonističkoj tradiciji. Film je nominiran za Oscara za najbolju glazbu. Dok je snimao film Akkad se konzultirao sa islamskim vjeroučiteljima i pokušao je iskazati poštovanje prema Islamu.
